Jasmin Spahić holds Bachelor’s degree in Business administration and finance from State University of New York, as well as the Master’s degree in Economic diplomacy from joint venture graduate program organized by School of Economics and Business at University of Sarajevo and Faculty of Economics at University of Zagreb. On professional side, Jasmin has been working in energy sector most of his professional career, where currently he is holding position of Chief of the staff at the Operator – Terminali Federacije LLC Sarajevo, a company which is managing strategic petroleum reserves in Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Additionally, Jasmin has been a long-term EU-Atlantic promotor and activist in Bosnia and Herzegovina, actively participating and leading projects which have been promoting EU and NATO integration of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Western Balkans, mainly through the position of YATA BiH’s president (Youth of the Atlantic Treaty Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina). Jasmin also has been attending in numerous trainings, seminars, conferences and summer schools organized by various international organizations and partners like UNDP, EBRD, European Commission, NED, GiZ, British Council, USAiD, IRI, NDI, Robert Schuman Institute, Konrad Adenauer foundation on leadership, political management, EU and NATO integration and PCM methodologies, which he successfully utilized also in his political activism through the positions of SDA’s Youth international secretary and SDA’s Political Academy senior project manager.
