Jovana Radosavljević

Biography

Jovana Radosavljević serves as the Executive Director of New Social Initiative (NSI), a civil society organization based in North Mitrovica, Kosovo, which she has been leading since its inception in 2015. NSI focuses on promoting inclusiveness, trust building, and good governance in Kosovo, working closely with various stakeholders in the Western Balkan region. With expertise in areas such as the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue, community rights, election processes, and conflict transformation, Jovana is dedicated to driving positive change in her community and beyond. Her academic background includes a Master’s degree in International Studies from the Joseph Korbel School of International Studies at the University of Denver, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in International Politics from the Faculty of Political Science at the University of Belgrade. Jovana’s mission at NSI is to empower non-majority communities to participate more fully in Kosovo’s social and institutional life, while also working to foster trust among communities through various initiatives. Her vision for NSI is to create a more inclusive society where citizens from diverse backgrounds feel valued and engaged in shaping Kosovo’s future.
