Lea Matevska is an Expert Associate in the field of Foreign Policy at the Cabinet of the President of the Republic of North Macedonia. Her daily work involves dealing with European security policy, international relations, organizing conferences and debates with policymakers focusing on security challenges in view of the future processes of EU enlargement and China’s soft influence in the WB region. Lea has a BSc in Economics and Marketing and has previously worked for the Government of North Macedonia in the PR Sector. She holds diplomas from the Diplomatic Academy organized by The Federal Foreign Office; the NATO Advanced, Intermediate and Foundation course organized by the MFA of North Macedonia and the British Government, the Stanford University LAD by prof. Francis Fukuyama and the Council of Europe School of Political Studies and Public Policy “Mother Theresa”. Besides Macedonian and English, Lea speaks fluent Spanish, German and a little French. She is skilled in diplomacy, protocol, crisis communication, mediation, public speaking and strategic planning.
