Olivera Eftimovska began her career as an entrepreneur by founding the Cultural and Educational Center Vortex Art Skopje, where she worked with both children and adults as an English Teacher and Educator. For the past six years, Olivera has been actively working in the NGO sector as a Project Coordinator and Organizational Development Expert. Her work focuses on human rights, gender equality, social entrepreneurship, and climate change. Through the EU Civil Resilience Mechanism (CRM) support programme, Olivera formed the National Network Women for Women, where she currently serves as President. She recognized the disproportionate development between women’s civil society organizations in Skopje and those in local areas. This realization inspired her mission to strengthen local women’s CSOs, ensuring they receive the support and resources necessary for their development and sustainability because women-led organizations play a pivotal role in advancing gender equality and driving positive social change. Olivera is also dedicated to increasing the representation of women in politics, advocating for greater female participation in decision-making processes. She studied at the Faculty of Philology “Blaze Koneski” in Skopje, at the Department of English Language and Literature.
